Do You Think Anyone Will Notice?

I'm really not suppose to be starting another project, but I am. Gust is my very first lace project. The pattern is from Knitspot. Anne Hanson is one of my favorite knitting designers. Last year her blog was one of the very first blogs about knitting I came across. Ever since that first read I was hooked and visit her place everyday. It's my day off and I really should be doing some cleaning. I don't want to! Let's play hooky! Want to join me? I think if we bake something really good know one will notice the bathroom hasn't been cleaned.

One of my handsome hubby's all time favorites are brownies. I think I should make a pan. Want to give me a hand? You can lick the spoon and the bowl. I promise that at my house these brownies are calorie and fat free. Another cool thing about my baking is this pan of brownies is chock full of vitamins and nutrient's. It's the perfect food! Yum!

O.K. here is the spoon. Mmm, tastes good!

While we are waiting for the bribe I mean brownies to bake let's do a bit of knitting. What do you think of the beginning of this pattern. It's pretty. You have to come in closer to see the yarn I am using.

This is a hand dyed fingerling weight yarn from Crazy Monkey Creations. It's the Panda Toes line and the color is Berry Blast. I just love all the variations in the colors. Don't you? Oh, did you hear the buzzer? I think the brownies are done!

Because you are my guest please let me know if you want an in or out piece. I also have whip cream or vanilla ice cream. Whatever you like. Let's sit down and relax and do a little knitting.

ooh man, I'm dying for a day like this. thanks for the brownies. I had mine with ice cream. Enjoy your lace work. I've knit a clapotis and some socks that qualify as lace I suppose, but that's it.

I'll take an out piece, please - can I have ice cream AND whipped cream, please? Yum!!!!!

Heaven! Thanks for sharing.

Love doing lace. Working to finish a lace scarf - with luck it will be done by September (make that one year since starting it!).

The yarn is gorgeous, and now I'm craving brownies in a real bad way! ;-Þ

I'll have a corner piece, please. No ice-cream, but a tall glass of ice cold milk would be nice. ;-)

Wow, brownies and knitting? I prefer the corner piece with nothing but a glass of milk.

The colors in that yarn are beautiful!

Good thinking. The first thing your husband will notice when he walks in the house is the smell of brownies. He won't care that the bathroom didn't get cleaned.

I love the colors of the yarn. It will make a pretty lace scarf.

you are so bad! but luckily (or unluckily...whichever way you see it) i dont care for brownies or fudge...thank god...plain old dark chocolate is bad enough without adding more sugar, eggs, flour, etc. when i make mark cookies and stuff i always add nuts, since i dont care for nuts in stuff. the yarn is great! whatever happened to the pink sweater?

No calories! Fat-Free! And nutritious to boot! Promise you'll post the recipe!!! As for the yarn, totally yummy! And yep, the smell of brownies wafting through the air and no hubby in his right mind is going to complain about the bathroom.

Mmmm...I can smell them baking. I'll tak any piece warm with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.

I have never really knitted lace either, but you may want to check into using a life line. It will save you time in case you have to (God forbid!) frog back. Google it!
