Celebrate Spring Contest!

In honor of the first day of spring I thought a contest would be fun. As you can see the lucky winner will receive two skeins of yummy Mmmalabrigo worsted weight yarn. The colorway is called velvet grapes. It truly is beautiful yarn. Each skein has about 216 yards. That's not all you will receive. The winner will also find some fun spring surprises in their package too!

So here are the rules. You can only enter one time. If you mention my contest on your blog with a link you will receive an extra 3 entries! If one of your friends enters because of your input you will get one extra entry. And lastly, just for fun, make sure to mention in your post one of your favorite flowers. One of my favorite flowers are lilacs. The purples and blues and pinks are so striking. The smell is divine. Heaven must smell like lilacs.

The contest ends on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at 7:00p.m. central time. When you leave your comment make sure and click the e-mail box so I can contact you. If you don't have your e-mail linked to your profile it won't work. You can also send me a message when you click on the little envelope next to the comment count. My e-mail is at the top of the page. I am so excited about this contest. I can't wait to read your comments and check out your blog! Happy Spring!

Happy Easter! Personally I love Lily of the Valley because they are so dainty and smell so sweet. My grandmother used to pick them and put them into little bud vases all over her house, so the smell of them brings back a lot of great memories for me too.

My favorite season, perhaps because I know my birthday will arrive soon! I love the huge splash of color that it brings. The spring I graduated from high school (many, many moons ago!) I had the opportunity to go to the Keukenhof Tulip Festival outside of Amsterdam. What a sight to see. Literally millions of tulips. And the only pictures I have are from an old Instamatic. I'd love to go back with the real thing!

I would love to enter your contest, I've never even seen Malabrigio in person so would love to try it. My favorite spring flowers are Lilacs too, I can't wait for spring to get here! Thank you for doing this contest. AfternoonMoon sent me here from her blog. :-)

Came over from Noricum/Soapbox's blog. My favourite flower is the next unexpected one I see, bobbing happily on its stem, and unthreatened by any plucking hands :)

Here via Afternoon Moon. One of my favorite flowers is pansies, because they seem like cheerful faces looking up at me. I also love old-fashioned roses, where each type is not only a different color but has a subtly different scent.
