Tudora

This is my first project with cables! It is a pattern called Tudora that is in the winter issue of Knitty. I found this pattern on Ravelry. The yarn I used is Malabrigo merino wool. The color is a deep variegated burgundy. I only used half of the skein. This is a great pattern for all of those left over skeins of yarn you don't know what to do with. I belong to a forum on Ravelry for Malabrigo Junkies. For the month of March there are all kinds of KAL's for Malabrigo Junkies! I have to say that I am addited to this beautiful yarn.

I have not blocked it yet. Isn't it so pretty! What do you think? O.K. I just wanted to give you a quick update. Now on to the next project. It's a hat. I'll show it to you later. Now we're off to the home and flower show. I hope you all have a great week end!

Cables are so fun, aren't they? It's just amazing how they form right under your needles! Wow...you've got quite a pretty collection of things to keep your neck warm. And here I am, about to get a short haircut, because I can't stand anything on my neck these days (too hot.) That Malabrigo is so beautiful; I am so curious to see what all the fuss is about....

oh how pretty. I LOVE Malabrigo, for reasons others might not...being not able to see colors or tonal effects, I tend to REALLY be into texture and love cables. With Malabrigo, it pills and almost felts itself in inconspicuous spots thus making a whole 'nother fabric. Oh well, I could go on and on with the babble but I;ll spare you by saying...ohhhhh THAT is soooo pretty. I love your knitting, it is so precise!!

Very pretty! I love cables. They always look more complicated than they really are.

Very nice cables, even and the tension is so nice. I love that color and the button is perfect.

I have about 3 hours of work left on the binding for "Squiggles At Night" I should be finished Sunday.
